UltraLow-Light-Level Detection
New APD photoreceivers
We are introducing a new line of ultra-low-light-level receivers based on an avalanche photodiode (APD) with speeds up to 2-GHz and fW detection. Our femtowatt receivers are also popular for plug-and-play ultralow- light-level detection.

Beam-Position Detection
New large-area and UV quadrant-cell photoreceivers.
We are pleased to offer an expanded line of quadrant-cell photoreceivers for beam positioning, alignment and steering applications. Our new large-area quadrant-cell photoreceivers are ideal for larger beams or deviations and are also available in a UV version.

Balanced Detection
For noise-sensitive experiments, we offer balanced photoreceivers that suppress up to 50-dB of laser/source intensity noise in experimental setups. These photoreceivers can eliminate the need for lock-in amplifiers and can make all the difference when you're trying to see a small signal.

High-Speed Detection
Improved performance for our 12- and 25-GHz photoreceivers and detectors We've made dramatic improvements in the performance of our high-speed receivers and detectors with higher responsivity, lower noise and faster rise times. Our full line of high-speed receivers and detectors operate at speeds up to 45-GHz bandwidths and are available in frequency-domain- and time-domain-optimized versions.

Large-Area Detection
For easy alignment or applications with large beams or with divergent optical signals, we offer a line of large area detectors in single-element, balanced and beam-position detection configurations.

General-Purpose Detection
For general-purpose applications, we offer a wide range of plug-and-play high-sensitivity photoreceivers with adjustable low- and high-pass filters and gain settings and wavelengths from the UV to 2.2 µm.
Power Meters & High-Dynamic Range Sensors
Our line of power meters include high-dynamic-range power sensors with >65-dB dynamic range, laser power-and-energy analyzer systems (complete with your choice of NIST- traceable sensor heads) and an inexpensive, hand-held power meter.
